What you will do

• Manage branch activities, profitability, sales, business development, transactions, servicing, and digital engagement.
• Lead, coach, and develop branch staff, including hiring, performance management, promotions, and staffing decisions.
• Identify retail and business banking needs, grow business relationships through proactive outreach, and build the bank’s community presence.
• Ensure compliance with operational, security, control, fraud prevention, and customer asset protection requirements.
• Own complex account servicing and error resolution issues through complete resolution.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and collaborate with internal business partners to resolve customer and employee issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, internet, and email applications.
• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing may be required within 18 months; Business Banking Specialist qualification is required within 18 months of hire.
