What you will do

• Manage branch operations, profitability, sales, business development, customer experience, and digital engagement.
• Lead, coach, develop, and staff branch employees, including interviewing, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
• Identify retail and business banking needs and grow Business Banking relationships through proactive outreach and community presence.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and bundle products and services where appropriate.
• Maintain operational, security, compliance, fraud-prevention, and internal control standards.
• Own complex account servicing and error-resolution issues through final resolution while building partnerships across the bank.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, and client relationship management.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, internet, and email tools.
• Maintain SAFE Act registration requirements and complete M&T Business Banking Specialist requirements within 18 months of hire.
• Maintain required insurance licensing within 18 months when required by market or branch needs; training is provided within six months.
