Data Center Solutions Senior Manager (HVAC)

Location: Remote within the United States; role associated with Davidson, North Carolina. Travel up to 25% may be required for field deployment, product trials, and customer engagements.

Annual base salary: $146,521.66–$235,500.00. Incentive eligible; not eligible for sales commission.

What you will do

• Serve as the subject matter expert for data center HVAC products and their application in mission-critical environments.
• Lead application engineers and mobile data center service engineers supporting field teams, installations, and start-up activities.
• Partner with product development, training, quality, commercial, and sales teams to launch products and ensure field readiness.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical escalation support for field service teams.
• Relay field feedback, identify product performance issues, and support root-cause resolution.
• Develop engineering documentation, technical bulletins, diagnostic procedures, and operational best practices.

Requirements

• Technical expertise in refrigeration and HVAC systems applied to data center environments.
• At least 7 years of experience in product support and technical service.
• At least 5 years of experience with magnetic bearing chiller technology and advanced refrigeration systems.
• Leadership experience guiding technical teams and collaborating in a matrixed organization.
• Knowledge of control systems, diagnostics, thermodynamics, commissioning procedures, engineering specifications, and technical drawings.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States and willingness to travel up to 25%.
