HVAC Technician (Climate Technology)

Location: Field-based work at customer locations in the greater Hilton Head / Beaufort area; position listed in North Charleston, South Carolina

Hourly base pay: $16.64–$40.77 per hour

What you will do

• Commission, start up, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers on installations and repairs.
• Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to complete service work.
• Serve as the primary customer contact and support customer satisfaction across assigned projects.
• Maintain safety, security, and accountability for company equipment and assets.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business needs require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 3–5+ years of HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA Certification.

Nice to have

• Technical school education or formal HVAC training.
