Field Technician Community (HVAC)

Location: Jacksonville, FL, United States

Compensation: $27.42–$34.28 per hour, plus eligibility for quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled repairs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installations, and landlord-responsible maintenance in occupied homes.
• Conduct move-out inspections, support tenant turns, assess property conditions, and prepare cost estimates for security deposit reconciliation.
• Inspect and maintain community amenities, common areas, and amenity buildings for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Service HVAC systems through tune-ups, leak detection, capacitor replacement, fan motor repairs, and efficiency testing.
• Monitor contractor work, verify quality and timelines, and ensure punch-list items are completed.
• Order supplies, document maintenance needs, report lease violations, and complete community asset repairs under portfolio management supervision.

Requirements

• At least two years of residential or property maintenance experience, or five years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; an associate degree or technical certification is preferred.
• HVAC experience and Universal EPA or HVAC Type II Certification preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, HVAC equipment, Microsoft Office, and basic CRM or field-service systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, follow OSHA safety standards, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds to shoulder height and 20 pounds overhead.
