Product Engineer II (DDR IP)

What you will do

• Support pre-silicon integration, implementation, usage, and deployment of memory subsystem products.
• Assist with internal system integration and QA testing for memory controllers and PHY products.
• Analyze complex subsystem application and implementation issues and provide technical guidance to customers.
• Support memory PHY and controller SoC integration reviews, implementation reviews, timing closure, and physical integration.
• Assist with RTL and gate-level simulations, post-silicon bringup, and production test activities.
• Collaborate with customers, R&D, and System Validation teams while improving technical documentation and customer deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a similar field, with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience, or a master’s degree.
• Experience with DDR5/4/3, LPDDR5/4/3, HBM3, GDDR6, or similar memory IP.
• Experience in Verilog RTL design and gate-level verification.
• Experience with synthesis and static timing analysis; physical implementation and verification experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry-standard DFT flows, test methodologies, package and board design, schematics, and SI/PI reviews.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, task ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 2 or more years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with Memory PHY and DSP-based architecture.
• Experience with embedded microcontroller firmware.
