Technical Advisor- Travel Canada (m/f/d)

Location: Canada; more than 80% travel required, with 100% onsite work at wind farms during construction. Travel to the United States and other global hirify.global locations may be required.

Salary: $45.00–$50.00 CAD per hour, plus up to a 5% bonus.

What you will do

• Ensure HSE compliance throughout wind turbine generator installation and finishing activities.
• Guide customer balance-of-plant contractors and hirify.global contractors on mechanical and electrical installation quality.
• Monitor mechanical works, tooling use, inspections, quality gates, incoming goods, and customer walkdowns.
• Document quality and schedule deviations and maintain live UPVISE daily progress reports.
• Support customer handover documentation and maintain effective relationships with customers and subcontractors.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in mechanical, electrical, or construction fields.
• Required onsite wind turbine generator assembly experience and experience with quality management or quality control.
• Technical knowledge, communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work with customers and subcontractors.
• English fluency and French proficiency required.
• Must be able to work in Canada without company sponsorship and travel to the United States for training.
• Valid full driver's license, eligibility for Canadian pre-employment screening, and ability to meet the 120 kg climbing-equipment requirement.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent technical training and safety certifications.
• Wind farm mechanical construction experience.
• German or Spanish language skills.
