Assistant Site Manager, PM- Travel USA (Wind Energy)

Location: US wind farms; 100% onsite during erection and commissioning, with 80–90% travel to domestic and international project sites

Salary: $75,000–$88,000 USD per year, plus up to a 10% bonus

What you will do

• Support daily wind farm erection and commissioning activities through Take Over Certification.
• Assist the Site Manager with coordinating mechanical and electrical WTG installation activities.
• Coordinate mobilization of cranes, erection equipment, and transportation equipment.
• Organize and track quality control and transportation documentation.
• Interface with customers, contractors, subcontractors, personnel, and the public.
• Operate the wind farm when the Site Manager is on rotation or paid time off.

Requirements

• Associate degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred three years of mechanical or construction experience, ideally in wind farm construction.
• Experience with quality management, quality control processes, or wind turbine assembly.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and the ability to organize multiple activities, meet deadlines, and prepare reports.
• Valid unrestricted driver's license, insurability under the company auto policy, and ability to obtain a passport for international travel.
• Fluent English is required; candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and meet applicable OSHA and ANSI weight limits.
