Service Technician (Wind Energy)

Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Tioga/Willston, ND, US

Compensation: $5,000 (net) signing bonus and $1,000 monthly housing allowance.

Global company specializing in the production of renewable energy through wind turbine generators.

What you will do

• Repair and maintain wind turbine generators and associated equipment at wind farms.
• Support 24/7/365 wind farm operations, including rotating shifts, overtime, and on-call duties.
• Conduct and review safety analyses of energy sources, electrical, and mechanical hazards.
• Assist in Root Cause Analyses to determine equipment failures.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation for corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.
• Ability to be certified to work with medium and high-voltage equipment.
• Physical ability to climb vertical ladders and work at heights above 300 feet daily.
• Weight requirement of 265 lbs or less to safely utilize climbing equipment.
• English: Fluent (C1) required to communicate safety and job-related information.

Nice to have

• Certification or degree in wind, technical, or engineering field.
• Previous wind industry experience.
