Security Program Manager

Location

Location: Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; On-site in the U.S.

Salary: $175K – $259K per year plus equity

What you will do

• Build and own the entire security program end to end, from bare metal to boardroom, scaling across continents.
• Manage execution of security initiatives across physical, logical, and datacenter security with tracked workstreams and deadlines.
• Drive cross-team security deliverables including hardening, access control, incident response readiness, and compliance evidence.
• Establish operating rhythms for reviews, risk tracking, audits, certifications, and leadership reporting.
• Coordinate security requirements for new site builds and customer onboarding to ensure controls are in place before compute deployment.
• Maintain metrics and status reporting to identify exposures and escalate issues timely.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in one of the specified U.S. cities.
• Experience running technical program management for security or infrastructure organizations.
• Proven track record driving security or compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, or customer security reviews) from kickoff to evidence.
• Ability to translate between security engineers and executives, distilling risk into decisions and next steps.
• Experience coordinating incident response or audit timelines with strong organizational skills.
• Bonus: experience with physical or datacenter security, model-weight protection, security tooling rollouts, or certifications like CISSP, CISM.
