Mission Manager (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in San Carlos, California, United States

Salary: $165,000–$225,000 annually

Building satellite infrastructure in Low Earth Orbit to collect sunlight, transmit energy via infrared lasers, power on-orbit compute, and deliver secure high-bandwidth optical data.

What you will do

• Drive program execution by managing schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate mission execution across engineering, operations, leadership, and external stakeholders.
• Lead problem-solving efforts for complex technical and operational challenges.
• Build and manage integrated mission schedules, resource plans, priorities, and dependencies.
• Coordinate contributors across multiple workstreams and remove blockers to maintain execution velocity.
• Establish accountability and take ownership of mission outcomes in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of technical project management experience.
• Experience driving complex programs from inception through delivery with strong ownership and accountability.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR.
