SVP, Legal (Global Infrastructure & Projects)

Location: United States; global project scope across North America, APAC, the UK, and EMEA.

What you will do

• Lead legal strategy and execution for global infrastructure and data centre projects.
• Advise on site selection, land acquisition, zoning, permitting, regulatory compliance, and energy supply arrangements.
• Provide legal counsel across data centre design, construction, procurement, colocation, and fit-out activities.
• Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements with vendors, contractors, and other project partners.
• Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across the full project lifecycle.
• Manage external counsel across multiple jurisdictions and provide risk-based guidance to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 15+ years of post-qualification experience as a lawyer supporting infrastructure, construction, or energy projects.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-jurisdictional digital infrastructure developments.
• Deep expertise in commercial real estate and/or construction, regulatory frameworks, and commercial contracting.
• Strong executive-level leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Strategic, commercially minded approach with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
