What you will do

• Act as the primary legal business partner for design, construction, procurement and operations teams across the EMEA data centre portfolio.
• Provide practical legal advice in project, commercial, procurement and operational meetings.
• Lead negotiations for heads of terms, design-and-build agreements, works agreements, consultant appointments, framework agreements, PCGs, bonds and collateral warranties.
• Coordinate contractual requirements from investors, lenders, customers, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Advise on project delivery, contract administration, variations, notices, payment issues, claims and dispute avoidance.
• Develop contracting strategies, governance standards, risk frameworks and contract lifecycle automation using Ironclad.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with 6+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Significant experience in primarily non-contentious construction, infrastructure, energy or data centre projects.
• Experience negotiating and managing complex procurement, construction, supply and services agreements, including FIDIC-based contracting.
• Experience advising on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, funding structures and jurisdictions.
• Strong commercial judgement, communication, organisation, stakeholder management and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage external counsel and operate effectively across multiple jurisdictions and business functions.
