Senior Professional Services Engineer (Application Security)

Location: Hybrid, available in Singapore or Sydney. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m.; occasional weekend support may be required for changes outside customer business hours. Travel is expected at 30%.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver advisory, implementation, and migration services for enterprise customers.
• Gather business and technical requirements and design solutions for hirify.global environments.
• Produce solution designs, HLDs, LLDs, data builds, scripts, test plans, deployment plans, migration plans, and other delivery artifacts.
• Implement customer changes, follow change management processes, and guide configuration of CPEs and integration points.
• Troubleshoot implementation issues and collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering, and other teams on technical escalations.
• Contribute to documentation, technical Q&A, best practices, automation scripts, procedures, and operational workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing Customer Engineer, Security Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Onboarding Engineer, Consultant, Technical Support Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Systems Engineer role.
• Strong knowledge of OSI layers and protocols, including TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, and HTTP.
• Deep understanding of Internet and security technologies, including DDoS protection, WAF, certificates, DNS, CDN, analytics, and logs.
• Experience with a scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
• Experience with Internet property security and performance technologies, including firewalls, bot management, rate limiting, caching, HTTP/2, and TLS 1.3.
• Working experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, plus the ability to manage projects, deadlines, competing priorities, and uncertainty.

Nice to have

• Fluent Thai speaking and writing skills to communicate with customers in the Thailand region.
