Solutions Consultant (Hybrid Cloud)

Location: Onsite, primarily from an HPE partner or customer office, supporting projects across Malaysia and Southeast Asia

What you will do

• Design hybrid cloud architectures combining on-premises infrastructure with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Create high-level and low-level designs, migration blueprints, implementation plans, and transformation roadmaps.
• Deliver full lifecycle implementations involving VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, HPE GreenLake, public cloud, containers, networking, and security.
• Execute workload, database, and application migrations while implementing Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD automation.
• Advise enterprise customers through cloud readiness assessments, TCO/ROI analysis, cost optimization reviews, workshops, and technical presentations.
• Coordinate multi-country delivery across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in IT consulting, cloud engineering, or infrastructure delivery.
• Successful delivery of complex hybrid cloud or data center transformation projects in Malaysia or Southeast Asia.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure, AWS, GCP, VMware, Hyper-V, HPE GreenLake, Azure Arc, AWS Outposts, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
• Experience with multi-region cloud deployments, particularly Singapore-based cloud regions.
• Strong customer-facing, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently in diverse cultural environments and across multiple countries and time zones.

Nice to have

• Azure Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or Google Cloud Architect certification.
• VMware VCP/VCAP, HPE ASE/Master ASE, ITIL, or TOGAF certification.
