Head of Sales - Romania (Crop Protection)

What you will do

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Romania.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth and increase market share.
• Build partnerships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
• Lead commercial negotiations and identify new business opportunities.
• Drive product launches and market expansion.
• Coach and develop a high-performing sales team of approximately 20 people while collaborating with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and regional leadership.

Requirements

• Degree in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven commercial leadership experience in crop protection, seeds, fertilisers, or agricultural inputs; crop protection experience is essential.
• Experience leading national sales teams and distributor-based business models.
• Strong commercial acumen with a record of delivering growth.
• Deep understanding of the Romanian agricultural market.
• Fluency in Romanian and English, with strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
