What you will do
- Oversee daily jobsite operations, subcontractor activities, workforce productivity, sequencing, and coordination.
- Coordinate project startup, mobilization, site logistics, equipment, materials, and long-lead procurement.
- Develop and maintain construction schedules with project managers and resolve field issues affecting schedule, quality, or budget.
- Monitor project progress, quality, plans, specifications, and QA/QC compliance through inspections and coordination meetings.
- Lead safety walkthroughs, enforce OSHA and company safety policies, and maintain safety documentation.
- Manage punch list completion, inspections, project records, and construction closeout while serving as the primary field representative.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of construction field experience, including 3+ years supervising field operations.
- Commercial or multifamily construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and building systems.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Leadership, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and subcontractor management skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred or ability to obtain; a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
