Network Security

Location: Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; or U.S. Remote. Location type: On-site.

Salary: $182,000–$224,000 base salary per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Design and defend network security architecture across data centers, corporate environments, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop segmentation, firewall, and east-west security controls for large-scale compute environments.
• Build network detection capabilities using telemetry, flow analysis, and alerting across training fabrics, OT networks, and WAN infrastructure.
• Harden operational technology and building management system networks against security threats.
• Automate network security controls so new sites inherit the required architecture from day one.
• Build the security program end to end as the infrastructure scales across continents.

Requirements

• Experience securing production networks at scale and analyzing packet captures.
• Experience designing segmentation for environments combining IT, OT, and high-value compute.
• Experience deploying and tuning NDR or flow-based detection that identified real intrusions.
• Experience managing infrastructure as code, with firewall rules stored in a code repository rather than configured only through a GUI.
• Ability to partner effectively with network engineering teams.

Nice to have

• OT and ICS security experience.
• Experience with data center or cloud provider environments.
• BGP and routing security knowledge.
• Experience with Zeek or Suricata.
