HR Business Partner (Operations)

What you will do

• Build the people function from scratch to support 10x headcount growth.
• Reinvent people operations by integrating AI into core HR processes to ensure scalability.
• Own internal communications, events, and culture initiatives for a fast-growing, multi-site team.
• Partner with data center operations leadership on organizational design and performance management.
• Support site leaders with shift workforce management, including scheduling, fatigue, and retention.
• Manage employee relations for a distributed hourly and salaried workforce.

Requirements

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA.

• Experience as an HR Business Partner for operations, manufacturing, or field workforces.
• Proven ability to handle end-to-end employee relations cases including investigation and resolution.
• Credibility and communication skills to partner effectively with both site technicians and senior leadership.
• Willingness to travel to sites as a primary part of the role.
• Must have existing work authorization in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in 24/7 shift environments.
• Knowledge of multi-state employment law.
• Experience with contractor conversions and safety program partnerships.
