Location: Buffalo, New York, United States; in-office work required four days every week

What you will do

• Plan and manage IT projects while providing high-level software development solutions.
• Lead infrastructure, technology integration, implementation, and application support for commercial banking systems.
• Design and develop Java-based integration applications for batch data processing, data movement, and transformation.
• Provide technical guidance on SOA, APIs, middleware orchestration, and integrations with external cloud platforms.
• Design infrastructure and implement automated deployment, testing, and integration solutions.
• Guide technical staff and collaborate with business teams to architect and deliver technology initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or a related technical field.
• At least five years of experience in the offered role, software engineering, software development, IT consulting, or a related occupation.
• Five years of experience with Java frontend and backend development, SpringBoot, Spring, REST API, SOAP, and microservices.
• Five years of experience designing databases and data warehouses with Oracle or similar relational databases, including MS SQL Server or MySQL.
• Five years of experience with Java batch processing for data movement and transformation.
• Two years of experience leading technical staff, administering applications, Enterprise Service Bus integration applications, Apache Camel, JavaScript frontend development, Jenkins, and GitLab.
