Engineering Team Leader (Advanced Controls)

Location: Onsite five days per week in Brooklyn Park, MN or Peoria, IL, United States. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $112,710–$169,060 per year

What you will do

• Lead system architecture, requirements, and technical specifications for advanced controls, automation, and emerging technology solutions.
• Guide engineering teams and align technical solutions with business objectives, product strategy, and engineering standards.
• Drive integration of hardware, software, controls, and machine systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business partners to define requirements, resolve technical issues, and deliver product outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, cost, staffing, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Coach, motivate, and develop project teams and team members.

Requirements

• Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science program.
• Experience with advanced controls, software development, system integration, and complex technical problem-solving.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and requirements development methods.
• Experience with product development, system architecture, controls design, and autonomous system capabilities.
• Ability to lead complex engineering and technology development projects while balancing scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Brooklyn Park, MN or Peoria, IL; visa sponsorship is not available.
