Sr Manager, Enterprise Batch Services (Control-M)

Location: Hybrid role based in Southlake, Texas or Austin, Texas

Salary: $164,000–$173,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead batch scheduling operations across multiple enterprise applications.
• Provide Level 2 support for batch execution, incident resolution, and business-impacting issues.
• Collaborate with application support teams and Production Control to maintain reliable operations.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives across batch services.
• Document procedures, processes, and technical solutions.
• Mentor and cross-train team members while communicating with technical teams, end users, and senior management.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in enterprise batch processing and support.
• Proven leadership experience in a technical environment.
• Control-M experience is required.
• Experience with mainframe tools including JES/SDSF, ISPF, JCL, CA-ESP, and CA11.
• Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Windows, file transfers, scripting, databases, infrastructure resilience, security, networking, and virtualization.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring and developing technical capabilities.
• Ability to assess customer impact and escalate issues appropriately.
• Experience with AI technologies and Hadoop.
