Head of Delivery, AI-Native Services (AI)

Location: Lehi, United States; hybrid with 1 to 2 days per week in-office

What you will do

• Own the delivery system and cost structure for one AI-native service, from design customers through repeatable and profitable operation.
• Architect and build AI agents, integrations, evaluations, human review processes, exception handling, and compliance controls.
• Operate production agentic workflows and prevent low-quality AI output from reaching customers through grounded context, constrained actions, verification, monitoring, and review.
• Break complex services into deterministic steps, agentic decisions, human judgment, exception paths, and escalation rules, then define how each component will be tested.
• Serve customers directly from discovery and workflow mapping through launch, issue resolution, and measurable outcomes.
• Own delivery economics, including cost models, margins, capacity planning, and deal-acceptance decisions.

Requirements

• Production experience personally building and operating at least one AI agent or agentic workflow.
• Experience leading a technical team, including hiring or developing people and making architecture and delivery trade-offs.
• Direct customer experience across discovery, workflow mapping, launch, problem resolution, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience owning and defending delivery economics, such as a cost model, margin, or capacity plan.
• Ability to turn bespoke customer work into reusable systems and reject customization that undermines economics.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from the Lehi office 1 to 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience operating in a regulated domain such as payroll, payments, tax, benefits, labor compliance, or fintech operations.
• Background as a forward-deployed leader, founding engineer with delivery-economics ownership, or technical services leader in a regulated-operations business.
