Delivery Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in the U.S. (New York, Austin, San Francisco, Seattle, or Remote U.S.)

Salary: $164,000 – $206,000 plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the compute turn-up process from facility availability to ready-for-service production status.
• Qualify racks at scale by establishing firmware baselines, configuring BMC/BIOS, and running cluster-level validation.
• Automate hardware workflows and provisioning stacks using Python or Go to minimize manual intervention.
• Triage hardware failures, drive vendor escalations, and feed patterns back into qualification gates.
• Partner with network, data center operations, and hardware teams to support incident response on live capacity.
• Travel 30-40% of the time to data centers and labs for turn-up windows.

Requirements

• Must have U.S. work authorization.
• Experience bringing up server or GPU fleets at scale (hundreds of nodes or more).
• Deep expertise in Linux and out-of-band management tools like BMC, IPMI, and Redfish.
• Proven ability to automate hardware workflows using Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience working in data halls with racking, cabling, and component swapping.
• Ability to travel 30-40% of the time for on-site data center turn-ups.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes-based bare-metal provisioning.
• Background in accelerator platform bringup (NVIDIA, AMD, or custom).
• Experience designing burn-in and stress harnesses.
• Familiarity with DCIM and inventory tooling.
