Bilingual Branch Manager (Banking)

Location: Danbury, Connecticut, United States; onsite branch-based role

Salary: $75,900–$126,500 annual USD

What you will do

• Manage branch activities, profitability, annual goals, sales, business development, operations, and customer experience.
• Lead, coach, develop, evaluate, and staff branch employees.
• Identify retail and business banking needs, build customer relationships, and grow business banking partnerships through outreach and community engagement.
• Oversee complex account servicing and error resolution issues through completion.
• Process business banking loan requests up to $100,000 and bundle appropriate products and services.
• Maintain operational, security, compliance, audit, fraud prevention, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of business banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish; proficiency is assessed.
• Ability to use common PC and Microsoft Office software.
• M&T Way Certification and Precision Leadership Certification.

Nice to have

• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing or willingness to obtain it within 18 months.
• M&T Business Banking Specialist qualification within 18 months of hire.
• Experience in sales, business development, financial services products, and exceptional customer service coaching.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
