Job Corps Business Development & Regional Operations Director

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; regional travel locally and out of state is required.

Salary: USD 115,000–140,000 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee operations across regional centers and ensure implementation of RFPs, Job Corps frameworks, corporate policies, and quality standards.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets while monitoring expenses and EBITDA performance.
• Support and mentor Center Directors to achieve operational metrics and contractual obligations.
• Build relationships with the Department of Labor, legislators, political leaders, employers, corporate partners, and community-based organizations.
• Drive staff development, business retention, contract renewals, new market opportunities, and expansion into proposed center locations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and approve location-specific policies that manage liability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Services required; master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience managing 5 or more direct reports.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex systems, processes, and people at an executive level.
• Strong preference for workforce services industry experience and corporate-level, multi-site leadership involving residential and training services.
• Maintain relevant professional licensure, registration, or certification in the state of practice when applicable.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and out of state is required.
