Software Engineer III - Senior Mulesoft Developer (MuleSoft)

Salary: $114,000–$180,000 USD gross base pay annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Mule 4 applications on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Build RESTful and event-driven integrations using API-led connectivity, RAML/OpenAPI, DataWeave, and MuleSoft connectors.
• Integrate customer, outage, work, asset management, billing, finance, and regulatory reporting systems for electric and gas operations.
• Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, API policies, logging, monitoring, error handling, and exception management.
• Support CI/CD, multi-environment deployments, release management, configuration, secrets, certificates, and runtime properties.
• Provide Level 2/3 production support, root cause analysis, reliability improvements, documentation, mentoring, and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise integration development experience and 3+ years of hands-on MuleSoft Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform experience.
• Experience designing secure, scalable APIs and integrations in complex, highly available, and regulated enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with Anypoint Design Center, Exchange, Runtime Manager, API Manager, CloudHub, and/or Runtime Fabric.
• Experience with DataWeave 2.x, RAML/OpenAPI, CI/CD, version control, deployment automation, monitoring, and logging tools such as Splunk.
• Strong understanding of integration security, authentication, authorization, data protection, operational risk, and cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

• MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 or Level 2 certification.
• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect certification.
• Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to MuleSoft Agent Fabric.
