Lead, Inventory Specialist

What you will do

• Oversee receiving, storage, kitting, issuance, tracking, and distribution of servers, networking equipment, power and cooling components, spare parts, and infrastructure materials.
• Manage shift backlogs, inventory queues, incoming receipts, RMA backlogs, and outgoing material requests against operational targets.
• Reassign resources, prioritize critical data center materials, fill staffing gaps, and coordinate material flow with Site Operations, Shipping, Receiving, Planning, Quality Control, Purchasing, Procurement, and other sites.
• Drive inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, reconciliations, FIFO stock rotation, replenishment, and monitoring of consumables and critical inventory levels.
• Maintain safe and accurate handling, identification, storage, environmental controls, housekeeping, and 5S organization for high-value and temperature-sensitive materials.
• Mentor and train employees, contribute to improvement projects, and manage RMA inspection, documentation, and vendor coordination.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of warehouse experience and 2 years of materials management or inventory control experience.
• Experience with data entry and inventory tracking systems.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. unassisted and perform standing, climbing, bending, pulling, pushing, carrying, and other physical warehouse activities.
• Ability to work in a warehouse and data center environment, including flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Strong organization, communication, prioritization, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree and prior lead or supervisory experience in warehouse or inventory operations.
• Forklift and material-handling equipment operation experience.
• Experience in data centers, technology, aerospace, semiconductors, or high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, ERP or WMS systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of inventory, kitting, RMA processes, structured cabling, server handling, or data center material flow.
