Associate, Manufacturing Engineering (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Support production of high-reliability electronic hardware for tactical satellite equipment.
• Assist with SMT solder assembly, mechanical integration, and environmental testing.
• Establish work instructions, develop process procedures, and maintain process controls.
• Qualify new tools and equipment, implement engineering changes, and maintain labor standards.
• Coordinate new product introductions, non-conformance reviews, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans, estimate costs and time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Alternatively, a bachelor's degree must have been completed within the last 12 months.
• Ability to work onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah.
• Some positions may require eligibility to obtain a security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
• Employment may include background checks and pre-employment substance abuse testing where permitted by law.
