Salary: $96,000–$132,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate product improvements and new product releases with other engineering functions, and manage manufacturing engineering projects.
• Lead the use of design for excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Establish time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Perform process failure mode and effects analysis, identify root causes and corrective actions, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate supplier activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for day-to-day problem-solving.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, lift, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in noisy and clean-room environments while using required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Strong interpersonal and consensus-building skills.
• Project management experience.
• PMP certification.
