Integration Engineer

Location: On-site at the headquarters in Everett, Washington, United States

Salary: $138,000–$182,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead cross-subsystem integration, assembly, commissioning, and testing for current and future fusion generator prototypes.
• Own integration sequences and coordinate daily and weekly multidisciplinary build schedules.
• Define and execute integrated subsystem tests with mechanical, electrical, controls, diagnostics, vacuum, and safety stakeholders.
• Lead build completion reviews and assess operational readiness and test preparedness.
• Author technician work instructions for standard builds and non-conformance resolution.
• Drive root cause analyses, corrective actions, hardware upgrades, and integration improvements to maximize uptime.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience delivering full-scope engineering projects, including schedule ownership.
• Experience applying engineering first principles and structured problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience across multiple engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and fluids engineering.
• Strong technical communication across functional and organizational levels.
• Ability to work on-site in Everett, Washington.
