What you will do

• Inspect fabrication and assembly work against drawings and specifications, including dimensional, visual, and weld checks.
• Document findings through inspection records, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and detailed photography.
• Manage rework processes and ensure non-compliant items are properly tagged and dispositioned.
• Log inspection data to identify trends and facilitate continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a fabrication or manufacturing inspection role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical prints and GD&T independently.
• Proficiency in using calibrated inspection tools and maintaining accurate records.
• Must be based in Phoenix, AZ or able to work onsite.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Weld inspection certifications (CWI or CAWI).
• Exposure to NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods.
• Experience with steel and structural products.
• Familiarity with QMS software.
