Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

$110,000 – $160,000 per year, with equity

What you will do

• Review customer and program quality requirements and ensure compliance with company policies and systems.
• Onboard new customers by mapping quality requirements and performing gap assessments.
• Collaborate with automation teams to integrate quality processes into automation systems.
• Manage customer and third-party audits, including pre-audit preparation and post-audit documentation.
• Drive data-driven process improvements based on quality specifications and customer flowdowns.
• Develop and refine the Quality Management System and create quality plans and protocols with manufacturing teams.
• Act as product owner for quality-related automation tools to meet customer and industry standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in quality engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense manufacturing
• Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with complex quality specifications and customer flowdowns.
• In-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards and audit management preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality processes (inspection, AS9102 FAIR, source inspections).
• Strong project management skills and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorizations (ITAR compliance)

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
