Manager Security

Location: On-site in Universal City, California, United States

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 yearly, bonus eligible

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and direct crime prevention and security operations across Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk.
• Resolve security issues and coordinate investigations involving park, CityWalk, hirify.global, and external entities.
• Analyze security incidents and crime statistics, prepare reports, present findings to management, and recommend deployment tactics.
• Coordinate contract security operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Liaise with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and other law enforcement agencies.
• Audit security operations, prepare situational reports, and maintain accurate incident documentation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in law enforcement or a related security profession.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, special events, and shifts with short notice.
• Full-time on-site work at an hirify.global-designated worksite is required.
• Working knowledge of security technology, alarm monitoring, and physical security systems.
• Experience or training in threat assessment, investigations, risk management, and counter-terrorism.

Nice to have

• BA/BS degree.
• Media, entertainment, or corporate security experience.
• Law enforcement or security trainer certification, such as POST.
• CCW permit, BSIS Guard Card, and Exposed Firearm Permit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
