Front End Lead Specialist (Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management)

Location: Remote within the United States; corporate roles are not available in Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Vermont, or Wisconsin.

Salary: $59,000–$76,500 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead configuration and operational setup for new client billing accounts and payer implementations.
• Partner with Engineering, Credentialing, Eligibility, and Finance teams on onboarding and payment setup.
• Maintain the Price Book and documentation for billing configurations, contracts, and operational procedures.
• Lead billing testing and validate eligibility, benefits, coding, charge reconciliation, and claim submission workflows.
• Oversee Data and Charge Entry contractors and employees, providing direction, reviewing work, and mentoring team members.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives across Athena, Zuora, Salesforce, Spark, and JIRA.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience, including direct billing and payer implementations.
• Experience managing complex accounts, escalations, exceptions, charge entry, reconciliation, and billing data workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial and government payer policies, reimbursement methodologies, contract requirements, CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding.
• Experience leading process improvement projects, analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing reporting frameworks.
• Strong proficiency with Athena, Zuora, Salesforce, JIRA, or similar revenue cycle management systems.
• Proactive use of AI tools to improve individual output and efficiency.
