Revenue Accounting & Operations Lead (Finance)

Location: San Francisco office, hybrid schedule with in-office presence on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays

Salary

Salary: $207,000 – $261,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead technical revenue accounting strategy and governance for quote-to-cash and revenue processes.
• Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate accounting implications for complex deals.
• Build deep product knowledge through alignment with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Serve as primary technical authority on revenue recognition frameworks for SaaS and consumption models.
• Ensure scalability and compliance with US GAAP, ASC 606, and company policies.
• Lead automation projects and streamline finance processes.

Requirements

• Location: Must work from San Francisco office on specified hybrid days
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technical revenue accounting and finance leadership.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP revenue recognition (ASC 606) and technical accounting memos.
• Experience with NetSuite, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, and Salesforce CPQ preferred.
• Big-4 or equivalent accounting firm experience highly desirable.
