Senior Manager of Revenue and Billing (Revenue Recognition)

What you will do

• Lead the Billing and Revenue team and own the end-to-end order-to-cash process.
• Ensure sales orders are integrated and billed accurately according to contract.
• Oversee revenue recognition, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, bad debt reserves, sales and VAT tax reconciliations.
• Reconcile transactions across Salesforce, Zuora Billing, Zuora CPQ, Zuora Revenue, NetSuite, Stripe, and cash accounts.
• Review journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, commissions, and balance sheet discrepancies.
• Support consolidated financial statements, management reporting, intercompany accounting, eliminations, and audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and financial close responsibilities.
• 2+ years of experience managing or leading accounting professionals.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, accruals, intercompany accounting, and financial controls.
• Experience with Zuora Billing, Zuora CPQ, Zuora Revenue, NetSuite GL, Salesforce, billing implementations, and Salesforce integrations.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.
