People and Culture Partner

Location: New York Metro Area, United States; hybrid work with an expectation to work from the NYC office 3 days per week

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 USD annual

What you will do

• Own Americas people operations and support the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Coach managers on culture, people practices, and regular People programs.
• Partner with Talent & Learning, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, and IT teams.
• Identify opportunities for actionable insights, scalable processes, policy improvements, and operational efficiencies.
• Manage employee relations matters and lead People & Culture projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working in HR is highly preferred.
• Experience with employee relations and strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and US employment legislation.
• Experience in Americas People Operations or People Experience, including using technology and HRIS to build automated processes.
• Ability to combine strategic advising with hands-on operational execution in a fast-moving scale-up.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience partnering with people leaders to build high-performing teams and a passion for progressive workplace culture.

Nice to have

• Experience with Canadian employment law.
