People Operations Business Partner

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite. Support teams remotely across multiple markets and travel to the Seattle facility as business needs require.

Salary: $115,000–$120,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for Operations leadership across Culinary, Food Safety, Fulfillment, Marketplace, and Logistics.
• Coach managers on performance management, organizational design, employee development, and leadership effectiveness.
• Partner on workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, organizational change, and employee engagement.
• Handle employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and terminations.
• Support the employee lifecycle in partnership with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and Legal.
• Manage employment documentation, confidential records, HR processes, systems, and data integrity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience with employee relations, performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Experience supporting large hourly and frontline employee populations.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Experience with HRIS platforms such as Rippling, Workday, or ADP.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, relationship-building, and leadership-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or logistics environments.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
