Program Manager - Transformation Delivery (Large-Scale Complex Initiatives) - Hybrid

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States of America; hybrid work with onsite presence required four days per week

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary teams through large-scale, complex transformation initiatives and strategically important engagements.
• Manage governance frameworks, priorities, resources, action items, risks, decisions, and issues across the organization.
• Provide senior leadership with transparent progress updates and develop communication materials for complex initiatives.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders, break down organizational silos, and drive collaboration and accountability.
• Define transformation outcomes and success measures while recommending innovative process and delivery improvements.
• Maintain internal controls, address audit and regulatory findings, and ensure adherence to risk standards and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of work experience, or 11 years of combined higher education and work experience including 7 years of work experience.
• At least 5 years of project, program, or portfolio management experience with large-scale transformation projects.
• Experience leading organizational change and demonstrated leadership, communication, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and cognitive bandwidth.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with onsite presence in Buffalo four days per week.
• Ability to work within banking risk, regulatory, audit, and internal control standards.

Nice to have

• Financial services industry experience.
• MBA or MS degree.
• PMP, Agile, SAFe, Certified Business Analyst, or ScrumMaster certification.
• Management consulting or comparable client service experience.
