What you will do

  • Manage state, federal, DEA, CLIA, controlled substance, pharmacy board, and business or occupational tax license applications and renewals.
  • Coordinate licensing activities for acquisitions, De Novo openings, and relocations, including inspections, regulatory updates, and agency communications.
  • Maintain licensing records and documentation in LicensePro and SharePoint.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Support acquisition and due-diligence meetings with licensing updates and regulatory insights.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to field staff on licensing and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in licensing, regulatory compliance, healthcare administration, or a similar administrative role.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Professional communication skills for working with licensing agencies, regulators, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including prolonged sitting, keyboarding, and communicating by phone or in person.

Nice to have

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with state and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Experience in behavioral health, substance-use treatment, or healthcare operations.
