Senior Director, Healthcare Compliance

Location: Must be based in the United States; hybrid schedule with three days per week in the New York office.

Salary: $160,000–$175,000 annually, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and oversee the healthcare compliance program across state and federal requirements.
• Manage healthcare licensing, renewals, and regulatory reporting across applicable states.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise leadership on impact, risks, and required actions.
• Build relationships with regulatory agencies and serve as the primary compliance contact.
• Lead audits, regulatory reviews, assessments, and remediation of findings.
• Lead and mentor the compliance team while partnering with legal, operations, product, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of compliance or regulatory affairs experience in healthcare or insurance, including state-specific regulations.
• Strong knowledge of licensing processes and requirements for health insurance providers.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and navigating complex regulatory environments.
• Experience managing and mentoring teams, with strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

• Advanced degree such as a JD, MBA, or MPH.
