Senior Analyst, Regulatory Licensing (Health Insurance)

Location: Fully remote for candidates residing in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia. Future work models may potentially include hybrid presence at an associated metro-area hub office.

Base pay: $38.22–$50.16 per hour in New Jersey and New York; $34.39–$42.99 per hour in all other listed locations.

What you will do

• Manage preparation and routine filing of certificates of authority for assigned states and regions.
• Develop and maintain internal processes for tracking annual and ad hoc regulatory filings.
• Track filing objections, communicate them to stakeholders, and coordinate resolution with impacted teams.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned states and document annual filing obligations and internal procedures.
• Build working relationships with state insurance regulators, including regulators in Florida, Arizona, and Texas.
• Support compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of licensing experience in the health plan or managed care space.
• At least 1 year of experience designing and improving workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated project management skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ACA marketplace plans, rules, and regulations.
• At least 1 year of SERFF and/or network data analysis experience.
