Staff Product Manager (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $188,500–$255,000 annual base pay, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end alignment of the technical operating system across company strategy, product development, and software delivery execution.
• Formulate and drive outcome-focused roadmaps tied to explicit success metrics and maintain a canonical plan of record.
• Reprioritize product backlogs and platform capabilities based on business demands, engineering constraints, and capacity gaps.
• Lead user research, developer interviews, and discovery sessions to identify friction and translate findings into requirements.
• Align stakeholders across product and engineering, manage boundaries, de-escalate conflicts, and communicate strategy to executives and developer communities.
• Establish safe generative AI practices for user-discovery synthesis, scenario modeling, and product documentation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical product management experience focused on developer platforms, shared enterprise services, portfolio tooling, or complex PDLC/SDLC ecosystems.
• End-to-end expertise translating enterprise goals into detailed execution structures, including user-story-level software delivery tracking.
• Experience combining quantitative delivery data with qualitative research to create functional documentation, decision logs, and roadmaps.
• Experience driving enterprise adoption of tools or operating models and managing challenging stakeholder negotiations.
• Strong technical fluency in tool integrations, database schemas, system interoperability, and prototyping.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, computer/software engineering, or a related technical or operational discipline.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools for rapid prototyping and mockups.
• PMP and/or CSPO certification.
• MBA.
