Product Manager, New Markets and Monetization (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid policy with at least 25% office attendance.

Annual salary: $305,000–$385,000 USD.

What you will do

• Own a new-market or monetization area, including partner and platform billing, spend observability, unified accounts, startup growth, or a specific industry vertical.
• Define how Claude usage is metered, attributed, billed, and managed across partners, resellers, platforms, APIs, and subscriptions.
• Build enterprise spending visibility, limits, and programmatic controls.
• Develop product strategy, specifications, commercial terms, pricing, revenue attribution, and partner or startup programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, Growth, Go-to-Market, Startups, Legal, Finance, Business Development, and Data Science.
• Own outcome metrics, instrumentation, customer research, roadmap decisions, strategy, specifications, and analysis.

Requirements

• End-to-end ownership of a developer platform, API, billing, money-movement, or self-serve growth product, including accountability for revenue or activation.
• Experience building with or shipping products on top of large language models.
• Technical fluency with API documentation and billing, identity, attribution, or platform designs.
• Ability to use SQL or equivalent tools for metrics, funnels, and market sizing.
• Experience negotiating pricing, revenue share, or program terms with Finance, Legal, or Business Development.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience in a relevant field.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of product management experience.
• Experience with metering, usage attribution, reseller or cloud-marketplace channels, or enterprise spend management.
• Experience taking developer platforms into new industries, including regulated sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, or financial services.
• Experience growing self-serve or startup businesses, building cross-product account or subscription systems, or taking products from zero to one.
