Engineering Project Team Leadr (Construction Equipment)

Location: Peoria, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation to Peoria is available for qualified candidates. Up to 10% domestic and international travel is expected.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year

Develops construction and earthmoving equipment, including Medium Wheel Loader products and solutions for defense applications.

What you will do

• Provide technical and project leadership to engineers and technicians, including hands-on machine expertise.
• Lead design and development projects for custom machines, configurations, attachments, and solutions that support direct customer sales.
• Develop dealer-installed and factory kits, including solutions for machine lifting, scrap handling, special guarding, and modified implement controls.
• Partner with hirify.global Defense Products on military applications and lead development of new attachments and offerings.
• Monitor project progress and costs, communicate status, resolve issues, and manage design deviations and assurance of supply.
• Collaborate with engineering system teams and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Progressive knowledge of Medium Wheel Loader or similar construction products and their design processes and standards.
• Experience managing complex assignments and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, leadership, and mediation skills.
• Experience with Creo and Teamcenter or similar design software.
• United States citizenship is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
