Salary: $214,000 – $255,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of structural and mechanical engineers
• Oversee design of machine architecture, structural systems, shielding, and assemblies
• Drive high-level architectural decisions on neutron shielding, primary structures, and plant design
• Lead design, analysis, and manufacturing process improvements to increase throughput
• Collaborate with Research, Science, Electrical, and Controls teams to meet program goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10+ years of structural/mechanical engineering experience including 3+ years in engineering management
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with full project ownership
• Ability to manage complex engineering projects with schedule accountability
• Hands-on exposure to mechanical, thermal, and large structures engineering disciplines
• Strong engineering first-principles and structured problem-solving skills
