Engineering Manager (Engineering/Maintenance)

Location: Rochester, New York, United States; travel up to 30%

Salary: $90,000–$125,000 per year, based on skills and experience

What you will do

• Build and manage the three-year capital plan, including monthly spending forecasts and plans supporting growth objectives and new product launches.
• Lead and oversee CAPEX projects using hirify.global Group project management methodology, managing schedules, milestones, risks, scope, cost, and timelines.
• Coordinate project execution with local teams, contractors, suppliers, engineering companies, authorities, and other external partners.
• Develop and review conceptual, basic, and detailed designs for mechanical and electrical systems and equipment modifications.
• Improve plant production, quality, safety, and financial performance using Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and statistical process improvement methods.
• Provide technical leadership, equipment support, employee training, and knowledge transfer to end users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• At least five years of experience in a related field, preferably managing technical projects in a plant environment.
• English required; Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems design, equipment operations, industry regulations, and applicable codes.
