Programmer/Analyst-Senior (MS SQL Server)

What you will do

• Modify complex existing software and application programs and develop new programs to support user and management needs.
• Design, test, debug, document, and implement application programs.
• Consult with users on program changes and provide technical support.
• Resolve production-system problems and support incident management and job monitoring.
• Lead projects involving automated systems or procedures when assigned.
• Provide direction and training to other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of equivalent experience.
• At least three years of related software development experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Lima, Ohio.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, customer-service, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Seven or more years of application development and support experience.
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server, including T-SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Five or more years of hands-on ETL development with SSIS.
• Strong understanding of relational database design and data modeling.
• Experience with production support, incident management, and job monitoring.
