Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer (Oracle)

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey; Day One Onsite with a hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $80,420–$106,050 gross annual base salary

What you will do

• Create Oracle procedures, functions, triggers, packages, materialized views, and views using advanced Oracle 11g and 12c features.
• Build ETL processes using Python, Oracle, Unix batch processing, and real-time stream processing.
• Load, cleanse, transform, and model large datasets from multiple vendors.
• Tune the performance of existing SQL and PL/SQL objects and develop optimized database objects.
• Create Unix shell scripts, reports, SQL Loader control files, and automated flat-file loading processes.
• Design databases and data models, document change requests, analyze dependencies, and investigate failed interfaces.

Requirements

• Strong Oracle PL/SQL development and performance-tuning skills.
• Experience with Oracle 11g and 12c, SQL, database design, and data modeling.
• Experience with Python-based ETL, Unix batch processing, real-time stream processing, and shell scripting.
• Ability to perform data cleansing, transformations, data loading, analytics, and interface troubleshooting.
• Ability to understand end-to-end data flow from the user interface to the database.
• Some quality assurance work is required.
