Oncology Field Medical Director, Hematology (Oncology)

Location: Remote, field-based in the United States; candidates must currently reside in Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, or Hawaii, with proximity to an airline hub and flexibility to travel 60–80% of the time.

Annual base salary: $176,600–$294,300, plus a 20% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Plan and execute medical engagement strategies for healthcare professionals and other priority customers in malignant hematology.
• Provide accurate, scientifically supported information about hirify.global medicines and relevant disease-state topics.
• Partner with Oncology Research & Development and Global Product Development to identify clinical trial sites, including sites serving under-represented patient populations.
• Support the Investigator Sponsored Research process and provide insights on local patient organizations and patient population needs.
• Represent hirify.global Medical Affairs with clinical and professional associations, societies, patient advocacy groups, and cross-functional committees.
• Mentor colleagues, lead assigned assets, manage territory priorities, and communicate medical insights to headquarters and field teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science; relevant experience includes 5+ years with a PharmD/PhD, 7+ years with an MBA/MSc, or 8+ years with a BA/BSc.
• Subject matter expertise in malignant hematology and strong knowledge of disease states, medicines, clinical research, study design, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Must currently reside in Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, or Hawaii.
• Excellent oral, written, scientific, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed, multidisciplinary environment.
• Ability to operate a company car, regularly fly to customer and internal meetings, attend scientific congresses, and work occasional weekends.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• PharmD, PhD, or another equivalent terminal doctoral degree.
• Previous field medical experience and an established healthcare professional network in the assigned territory.
• Clinical experience in malignant hematology and familiarity with relevant operating procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Leadership experience involving influence, mentoring, coaching, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
